George Mastrokostas - Former New York Business Owner

A resident of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, George Mastrokostas has enjoyed a career that included broadcasting and entrepreneurship. George Mastrokostas began his career in media as a manager-trainee for Adelphia Cable in 1992. In this position, he was involved with media production and local programming, video editing and camera operations, inventory and logistics coordination, customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and small business management. He also worked as a camera operator for a local news station.

In 2000, Mr. Mastrokostas launched a vending machine company, Metro Vending. As the owner and president, he handled tasks such as filling machines, ordering products, and obtaining new contracts in the five New York City boroughs. His work experience led to the development of strong interpersonal, technical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt and grow in diverse work environments.

His educational experience includes attending St. John’s University to earn a degree in criminal justice studies. He also attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, where he underwent broadcasting and media training. In his free time, Mr. Mastrokostas enjoys watching movies and television, traveling (especially to Atlantic City), classic cars, and decorating for Halloween.
